Ferrero retiring?

Former world No.1 Juan Carlos Ferrero is on the downhill of his career. Gone are the days, where he was the dominating player on clay and a constant force on other surfaces. Now the 2003 French Open champion has fallen to No.115 in the rankings and is seriously thinking of retiring.

"The motivation is not there after 11 years" - said Ferrero.

The Spaniard told the press, he will make the final decision by the end of the year, wheather to play one more season. The 29 year old is playing in Casablanca this week. He's been sidelined from the Tour for about a month after an abductor problem.

Should he really hung up his racquet, Ferrero would like to help train young players and become more involved in his hometown tournament in Valencia, as well as the hotel he owns there.
