Dokic now with Lacoste

The Jelena Dokic boom isn't over yet. She's still everybody's darling and although her ranking is still not up to, where it used to be (No.4 in 2001), she's slowly, but surely heading into the right direction. After the allmighty successful Australian Open, where she reached the quarters as a wildcard, all eyes are on her. The sponsors know that as well, so they battled, that the world looks at a Jelena in their clothes brand. Lacoste got the better of that fight.

Dokic, who struggled for years with lack of form and confidence, is now back in the spotlight. Gone are the times, where she had to worry about her finnacial state. Things seem to be going well for her at the moment. She sealed a deal with Lacoste that is believed to be worth close to $4.4 Mio. over three years. The Aussie has been wearing clothes made by Fila for the whole of her professional career. In Miami we saw her for the first time in Lacoste

The big FILA-times are over. Now it's Lacoste time

Now she's represented by managment giant IMG and you can see the fruits of this cooperation. She has signed a deal with the Australian budget airline Jetstar. In the next few months she will also renegotiate her racquet deal with Wilson. You can expect Dokic to get a lucrative arrangment there too. Her re-birth has been perhaps the story of this year.
