This is the first classical double bagel since David Ferrer defeated Paul Goldstein in Barcelona in 2007.
This year we already had two matches, where a player won two 6/0 sets, but the matches involved also sets with a non-bagel score. Funny fact, that both those matches involved Radek Stepanek. The Czech lost at the Australian Open to Fernando Verdasco 4/6 0/6 0/6, but managed to win 5/7 6/0 6/0 against Todd Widom last week in San Jose.
Congratulations to Juan Monaco for a fantastic perfomance and our condolations to Sergio Roitman for the perhaps worst 58 minutes in his life...
