13 Grand Slams vs 0 Grand Slams

Roger Federer, former world number one, said few weeks ago that something must be wrong with the WTA ranking. The reason why he said so, was the fact that Jelena Jankovic became number one without winning any Grand Slam titles. He said that it took Rafa Nadal 5 Majors to become nr 1.

The Serbian, who arrived at Paris to play GDF SUEZ Open responded angrily:

"To be honest, I do not like to talk about players, I really prefer to focus on myself. Why should he even care? I don't like putting my nose in other's business."

"I mean, one thing I like about Nadal is that he is such a great champion, he is so humble, always has kind words for everybody, he is a role model for everybody.

Federer is a great champion, I don't want to get in a fight with him but why does he care, I really don't understand. Why does he need to do that?"

"I don't think it's nice to attack other players"- she ended.

Yeah, you are right Jelena. However, the best thing you can do, is to finally win a Grand Slam title and prove Federer wrong.
