Serbian changes

Serbian superstars decieded that there has come a time for changes.
Let's start with...

Novak Djokovic

The World No.3 had it with Wilson and decieded to sign up with Head. Nole will join top 10 colleagues Andy Murray and Gilles Simon. The partnership became effective on January 1st, 2009.

“I am extremely excited to be joining the HEAD family, as HEAD is well-known and well-respected on the tour,” said Djokovic. “This gives me an exciting opportunity to play with a racquet that has the technology with the right feel to compliment my aggressive style of play.”

The Serb played for the first time with his new racquet at the tournament in Brisbane, where he unexpectedly lost to Ernests Gulbis in the 1st round.
Was is Nole's fault or can he blame the racquet for this?

This loss forced Djoker to ask the Sydney organizors for a wildcard (which he naturally got)

Jelena Jankovic

The World No.1's contract with Reebok has expired and there has been no announcement made by the Serb, which brand will be sponsoring her.

Last years's US Open finalist gave us a little hint on what might be her next move as she wore a Chinese brand called Li Ning at this weeks exhibition tournament in Hong Kong. Will this be a long-term team-up or just a temporary flirt, time will tell...

She may not have a deal with a clothing company, but JJ has signed with IMG for Exclusive, Worldwide Management and Marketing Representation.
Jankovic, 23, will also join IMG Models, the world's No. 1 international model management firm.

IMG is the leading client management company in tennis and represents such superstars as Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Maria Sharapova, Venus Williams and James Blake. In addition, IMG owns, manages or represents many of the world's leading tournaments including Sony Ericsson Open, Australian Open, Chennai Open and Wimbledon, among many others.

Ana Ivanovic

Last but not least there are also some changes by the tennis beauty. She may not have split with Verdasco, but there are some news that she parted ways with her main coach Sven Groenefeld, Adidas’ head of player development.

Ivanovic's camp says that the two could re-unite in Melbourne, but also says that the Aussie Open finalist is 'enjoying the freedom of being on her own.
