Serena Williams won't participate in this year's Open Gaz de France edition.
Her french fans may be encouraging the younger Williams-sister to take part in the tournament by saying stuff like: "bite the bullet and play!". The ironic thing is, that the world No.10 can't play, because she can't bite! The organizers said miss Williams pulled out because of a dental surgery.
The 8-time Grand Slam champion will be replaced in the draw by Daniela Hantuchova.
