Rock-throwing in Sweden

Anti-Israel activists tried to storm a closed Arena where Sweden was playing against Israel in the Davis Cup. Luckily, there were no reports of injuries. About 100 people were apprehended and at least six were formally arrested for rioting.

"We knew there were going to be a few thousand people screaming out there," Israeli player Andy Ram said. "Inside here we didn't feel anything. The police did a good job."

About 1,000 police from southern Sweden were deployed in Malmo to keep the protesters from entering the arena.

As to remind you: only 300 guests were allowed to watch the match live because the Malmo officials claimed, that they couldn't quarantee security at the venue.
Andy Ram said "Playing without a crowd is like playing a practice match".

Well Andy, we completely agree with you, but hey! Your safety is more important, isn't it?
