Gabi honored by Internatioal Tennis Hall of Fame

Former world No.3 Gabriela Sabatini made the Hall of Fame in 2006, but now she has been once again honored by the International Tennis Hall of Fame, in conjunction with the Copa Telmex Tournament in Buenos Aires. They paid tribute to the former US Open champion at the tournament's openning dinner.

Sabatini's list of accomplishments is almost endless. She's the first woman from Argentia to have captured a Grand Slam title. She beat the world No.1 Steffi Graf in the final of the 1990 US Open. She reached a career high of No.3 - of course the highest for a South American woman. She stayed in the top ten from 1986-1995 (a year later she ended up her career). Gabi won 27 singles and 14 doubles titles (including the 1988 Wimbledon). She's also a silver medalist from the 1988 Olympic Games in Seul. She holds an amazing 24-6 win-loss record in Fed Cup matches and 632-189 in general. Enough, right?

Oh and by the way - is it only me or is Gabi really getting sexier with every year she gains?
