Dimitrov working with Lundgren

The 17 year old Grigor Dimitrov will be working together with Peter Lundgren. Some might say the collaboration has already paid out, as the teenager scored a massive win over world No.23 Tomas Berdych yesterday in only his second outing on the ATP World Tour.

Lundgren, a former tennis player, is known for working with great talents.
He has already coached Marcelo Rios, Roger Federer, Marat Safin and Marcos Baghdatis (until the two split at the end of last year).

Dimitrov is a future star in making. He already won two Grand Slam titles at junior level (Wimbledon & US Open). The teenager is now working with the top of the cream.
With Lundgren as coach, Gil Reyes as fitness trainer and world No.1 Rafael Nadal as a sparing partner - the Bulgarian is dressed for success. Dimitrov and Nadal have trained together on occasion.

“He’s never given me any tips, but just working with him and watching his game is tips enough - his practice sessions are crazy. If I play Nadal it will show me what I have to work on in my game.” - Dimitrov said.
