Still guilty

Spain's Laura Pous Tio, who tested positive for banned diuretics hydrochlorothiazide and amiloride during the 2007 Wimbledon qualifying tournament, will have to complete her 2 year ban sentence.

The ban officialy started in October 2007. The Spaniard appealed the decision, but wasn't successfull as the Court of Arbitration for Sport has upheld the two-year doping ban.

“The CAS Tribunal rejected the player’s contention that she bore no fault or negligence or no significant fault or negligence,” CAS said on its Web site.

The former world No.74 Pous Tio will be allowed to play again on October 1st, this year. It will be a wonderful gift for the Spaniard, who's celebrating her 25th birthday that day.
