Adidas's great comeback to racquet producing

After retiring from tennis racquets production in 1992, Adidas, that was once suppling Ivan Lendl and Illie Nastase, is back in the game in 2009.

"Building on our footwear and apparel success adidas tennis feels the market is right for the return to racket production,” says Simon Cartwright, Vice President of Global Tennis. “We can now provide tennis players with everything they need to take part in one of the most popular sports in the world. Consumers can be assured that our new rackets will match the high levels of product quality so long associated with the adidas brand.”

And the originators can be assured, that their new rackets will bring high bottom lines to their bank accounts as well...

By the way, basing on what we can see, Adidas racquets DO have changed, haven't they...?

PS. As the Aussie is about to start, Djoko is back with you, Dear Readers, so watch out! ;-)
