Japan's most accomplished singles player Kimiko Date is about to make a comeback to the WTA Tour at the age of 37 . After retiring 12 year's ago, the former World No.4 is due to make a formal announcement at a news conference on Monday.In the mid 90's Date reached the semifinal stage at Australian Open, French Open and Wimbledon. She also made the quarters at US Open. The Japanese won 7 singles titles and got up to No.4 in the Rankings.
It seems like it has become very trendy to make a very late comeback to the WTA Tour, so maybe we're gonna see Navratilova coming back soon...
