Murray hires Corretja

Andy Murray decided to hire former World No.2 and two-time French Open Runner-Up Alex Corretja for the claycourt season.

Corretja, a claycourt specialist and two-time French Open Runner-Up believes, that Murray has got the game to make it all the way at Rolland Garros, "I have watched Andy play several times over the last couple of years, and in particular his close match against (Rafael) Nadal in Madrid in October, and saw that he has tremendous potential to play well on all surfaces and I am flattered to have been asked to be part of his team during the claycourt season."

"It's great for me to be able to work with a clay-court specialist like Alex. He had a fantastic career and I am looking forward to learning from his experiences," said Murray.

The british No.1 missed the most part of last year's claycourt season, because of an wrist injury. He will be looking forward to make some places good in the standings, as he hasn't got any points to defend coming into this year's spring. He will play his first tournament on clay in Valencia, which starts on April 14.
