Davenport's second one

Former World No.1 Lindsay Davenport has become mum for the second time.

"Lindsay Davenport and her husband, Jon Leach, joyfully announce the birth of their daughter, Lauren Andrus Davenport Leach, who was born Saturday June 27 at 11:04 am (PST) in Newport Beach, California," - Tony Godsick said in a statement.

In autumn of 2007 the three time Grand Slam champion made a surprsing comeback after ging birth to her first child - son Jagger. Even more surprising Davenport managed to win her first tournament after comeback and add another three in the space of the next half a year. The American didn't mention another comeback possibility.

Congrats Lindsay!!!

D-I-V-O-R-C-E

Bad times for Rafael Nadal. Not only did he lose his first match ever at the French Open, he also couldn't defend his Wimbledon title, as he was forced to withdraw with an ongoing knee injury, bu none of this might hurt Nadal as much as this one - his parents are getting a divorce.

The rumour about his parents' divorce was flying around in the media for some time already, but now Sebastian and Ana Maria made it official.

Rafa's parents

“Rafa is devastated. All through the past couple of months he has been trying to get his tennis back on track, but his heart has been elsewhere. In public he has put on a brave face, but in private he has been hoping for a reconciliation and fervently wishing this wasn’t happening. Now he has returned home and is catching up with his family. He talked about resetting his body after withdrawing from the championships and yet he has a more difficult task.” - said a source close to Nadal's camp.

Take Cara, Rafa!

We're back, back for good

Hi Guys!

First of all, the Argwus Team would like to appologize to all of you for the major break we took.
The spring brought tennis back to Europe, so we left our families, girlfriends and computers just to be able to attend them (most of the time as lineumpires). This meant that we didn't have the time for writing and once you stop doing it, it's very difficult to get back on track.

That being said, we'll be trying our hardest to get back into the groove right now, so you once again can enjoy all the gossip from the tennis world.

Thanks for your understanding.

The Argwus Team
